Xpress Bath values it’s quality products, high levels of prompt and superior customer service and most of all our customers to the highest extent.

It has recently came to our attention that the following website, GetPayBack.com is displaying false and misleading information about Xpress Bath’s company and specifically it’s services.  We have contacted GetPayBack.com and they are essentially try to extort $299.00 from us to remove this “Anonymous” post based on lies.  It is our opinion that websites such as GetPayBack.com prove nothing and are misleading if they do not portray facts.  In fact, this is a very “shady” way to do business and make money.

At this time we have no open or known complaints.  We recommend you visit the Better Business Bureau here, to get a better understanding of Xpress Bath’s business reputation and current A- rating.  You can also view the various rolling Testimonials displayed across our site.

New York City Bathroom Remodeling Trends

Xpress Bath has remodeled hundreds of bathrooms in New York City.  Unlike other parts of the country, New York City bathroom remodeling projects have their own unique sets of issues.  Truth be told, most New York City bathrooms are very similar in size, configuration and materials historically used.  However, what has changed dramatically over the past 15 years are the type of materials used, fixtures available and methods of installation.  At Xpress Bath, we are constantly investigating new materials and methods of installation tailored specifically for our New York Metro customers.  As every New Yorker knows, time is a precious commodity.  At Xpress Bath, we have engineered processes to get your bathroom remodeled as efficiently as possible.

One example of materials evolution that has benefited our New York City customers is the use of acrylic wall liners and tub and shower surrounds instead of ceramic tile.  Although we continue to install a large amount of ceramic tile flooring, we have seen a shift toward modern acrylic wall materials that simulate the look and feel of tile or marble in the wet area of the bath or shower. Unlike some less attractive acrylic products offered by Bathfitter or Rebath, Xpress Bath carries a wide array of wall systems made of acrylic and other modern materials that reproduce the look and feel of modern tile, marble and granite in a maintenance free substrate.  In addition to providing a durable and maintenance-free finish, these modern materials can be installed very quickly and at a much lower cost than conventional ceramic tile, marble or granite.  The efficient installation of these materials at a lower cost is of high value to our Metro New York City, New Jersey and Westchester County bathroom remodeling customers.

Although Xpress Bath’s acrylic simulated tile and marble wall systems are installed at a lower cost than conventional tile and marble, the materials are NOT cheap.  In fact, modern acrylic bath materials are higher quality than most ceramic tile without the detrimental maintenance issues associated with porous grout used in ceramic tile installations.  Although the material cost for these modern bath systems is higher than ceramic tile, the total cost of installation is lower than ceramic tile due to the labor savings during installation.  The speed of installation allows Xpress Bath to install a complete bathroom in as little as three (3) days as opposed to two (2) weeks.  This speedy installation at a lower cost than tile is of high value to our New York City customers that often only have one (1) bathroom.  Below are a couple of examples of modern wall finishes provided and installed by Xpress Bath.

What Does A Bathtub Liner Cost In New York, New Jersey or Connecticut?

As you have already read, Xpress Bath tub liners are fabricated of 100% virgin acrylic and are a full ¼” thick.  This means, that and Xpress Bath acrylic tub liner is more durable than most standard steel tubs and enjoys a limited lifetime warranty.  In fact a tub or shower covered with an acrylic tub liner will always be more durable than the originally installed tub or shower.  Best of all, because acrylic tub liners are both extremely durable and non-porous they will never peel, chip or flake off like painted bathtubs and will never require scrubbing to keep clean.

Sounds great!  So what does it cost to install an acrylic tub liner in the New York Metro Area?  As you can imagine, that depends!  It depends on whether the job is in a private home or condo/co-op?  It depends on whether we can send one installer or two (one to baby sit the Van in Manhattan, so our tickets don’t cost more than the liner).  And it depends on access in the bathroom and your existing bathtub’s configuration.  So, its not so much whether we are remodeling a bathroom in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau County, Westchester County, Fairfield County, Greenwich, Stamford, Bridgeport, Rockland County, New Jersey or any other town in the Tri-State area its more a function of your specific job requirements.

So, if you must twist our arm, a new acrylic tub liner will cost less than replacing your existing tub but more than a cheap bathtub re-glazing or painting project.  Taking all these factors into consideration, a high quality acrylic tub liner can cost anywhere from a low of $900 for multiple tubs to $1,700 for difficult to access locations and tub configurations.

However, given a typical bathtub repaint costs $400 and will only last a few years, acrylic tub liners are a bargain given their lifetime warranty and ease of care.

What is a Tub Liner?

In short, a tub liner is a new bathtub or shower basin custom fabricated to fit perfectly over your existing bathtub or shower basin.  At Xpress Bath, our manufacturing facility utilizes a patented process for creating exact replicas of your existing tub or shower, thus ensuring a perfect, glove-like fit.  How do we create the perfect fitting tub liner for your existing tub or shower basin?  Well, we’ve collected practically every physical tub and shower basin built since 1912!  Since the early 1980’s our facility has been collecting, coding and storing every old cast iron and steel tub we could find.  In essence, we’ve created a bathtub museum containing hundreds of models of tubs and shower basins.  Utilizing proprietary measuring devices, our bath consultants take unique measurements of your tub or shower to create a virtual “fingerprint” of your tub and identify the exact make and model for your tub or shower.  Once your tub or shower is positively identified, we pull the exact same tub out of our bathtub museum and place it into our thermoformer.  The thermoformer heats up ¼” sheets of acrylic until they are pliable and then, utilizing our patented process creates an exact acrylic mold over the actual tub or shower basin.  Our installers deliver the new tub to your home or office and since it’s an exact match of your existing we are able to install it over your existing tub or shower in several hours.
